Elohim

Here is partly how the evil oneness developed, when the Gentiles translated the plural word Elohim into their language in antiquity they translated it Zeus, Deus, Deos, Dios, Theos, Gud, God, and Gott etc..  The plural word became a word denoting singularity.  It should be remembered that Satan is only one person, thus his endeavor to merge plurality into singularity through translation.

When Nebuchadnezzar threw Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah into the fiery furnace he said, "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of Elahin." Dan. 3:25

Elahin is the Chaldean equivalent of Elohim, which most modern translations have translated as "gods".  Proverbs 30:4 also agrees that YAHUSHUA was the Son of Elohim long before He was born through Mary.

Now something to think about!  When Nebuchadnezzar said, "Son of Elahin", and if this word is plural, and one is walking in the midst of the fiery furnace is the Son of Elahin (plural) then who is the other person involved besides the Father?

Perhaps this is where the third member of the Elohim comes in, the Holy Spirit.

In the Old Testament the Son acted in the sacred name YAHUWAH (compare  I Corinthians 10:4 with Ex. 17:6).  "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Sacred Ghost." Matthew 28:19.  Thus, all three act in the one name.  Patrick believed in the Trinity of the sacred name.  But the New Testament in the book of Acts they baptized in the name of YAHUSHUA the Messiah.  They must have understood that the three heavenly dignitaries acted in the name of YAHUSHUA!

"Then (Elohim) said, 'And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us."  Gen. 1:26
