Ram vs. Titan

    These two teams had gone through a couple of stages originally the Rams were in Cleveland, then moved to Los Angeles, and then on to their present home in St. Louis.  The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee became the Tennessee Oilers and after two seasons changed their name to the Tennessee Titans.  Amazing that these two teams ended up battling it out in Super Bowl XXXIV (year 2000).

    Sports fans pay attention!  There is a story behind this particular match up!  It is the Great Controversy Between the Messiah and Satan!  You see doing some research on Titans has some very interesting finds.  Surface dictionaries will tell you that Titan means "Giant" sort of like "Titanic" something huge.  Other dictionaries go even further and explain that the Titans were the 12 children of Uranus (Heaven) and Ge or Gaea (Earth).  Saturn was the leader of the Titans, sort of like the head coach.

   The story of the Titans is that they broke loose from order and contended for the sovereignty of heaven and were overthrown by Zeus (an ancient word that meant God, just as Deus, Deos, Dios, and Theos), who imprisoned the Titans in the depths of Tartarus, another way of saying the abyss or bottomless pit, meaning this world before creation.   The Greek stories of the Titans are perversions of the  "exact counterpart of the Scriptural account of Satan and his angels." (See The Two Babylons pp. 276-279, 295 by Alexander Hislop). 

   "And there was war in heaven: Michael and His angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

    "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

 REVELATION 12:7-9

    Interesting also that in the Hockey finals, the match up was the New Jersey Devils who defeated the Dallas Stars.  Stars  represents both angels (Rev. 1:20) and Saints or the children of Israel (Gen. 22:17; 37:9).  "And his (Satan's) tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth." Revelation 12:4  Which was a third of the angels of heaven. (see also Daniel 8:10)    

    Titan was also the name of a god, acquainted with the sun god Helios (Sol).

    Just as Seraphim (Isaiah 6:2) becomes in the Chaldee language  Teraphim (Judges 17:5), also the Hebrew Shekel , becomes Tekel in Claldee (Dan. 5:27).  So likewise Titan or Teitan is Sheitan the Arabian term for Satan.  Notice what Teitan adds up to in the Greek numerical value.

Behold the RAM of God!

    Very significant and even prophetic that it was the Rams  that beat the Titans in the Super Bowl, since a ram is simply a grown up LAMB, a symbol representing YAHUSHUA the Messiah the holy one of Israel.  Isaac also prefigured the Messiah, Abraham was told "Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him: for now I know that thou fearest Elohim, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a Ram caught in a thicket by his horns." Gen 22:12, 13.  Which represented YAHUSHUA the Messiah.

    Satan's accusation in heaven and for four thousand years was that no one could keep the law.  But YAHUSHUA the Messiah silenced that accusation when He came in human flesh and obey the law and never sinned, not even once! 

    "Whosoever commiteth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." I John 3:4.

    "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Elohim is eternal life through YAHUSHUA Messiah our Sovereign." Romans 6:23

    Now Satan's accusation is this.  OK YAHUSHUA kept the law, but no one else can do it!  There will be a people who will refute this accusation!  Scripture says so

     It's the 144,000 who have "His Father's name written in their foreheads." Rev. 14:1

    "These are they which are not defiled with women (which in Bible prophecy represents a church, see Jer. 6:2 & Rev. 17:4, 5) for they are virgins. These follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.

    "And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of Elohim." revelation 14:4, 5

     "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of YAHUSHUA." Revelation 14:12

    "Even when he (Satan) was cast out of heaven, Infinite Wisdom did not destroy Satan.  Since only the service of love can be accepted to (YAHUWAH), the allegiance of His creatures must rest upon a conviction of His justice and benevolence.  The inhabitants of heaven and the worlds, being unprepared to comprehend the nature or consequences of sin, could not then have seen the justice of (Elohim) in the destruction of Satan.  Had he been immediately blotted out of existence, some would have served (Elohim) from fear rather than love.  The influence of the deceiver would not have been fully destroyed, nor would the spirit of rebellion have been utterly eradicated.  For the good of the entire universe through the ceaseless ages, he must more fully develop his principles, that his charges against the divine government might be seen in their true light by all created beings, and that the justice and mercy of (Elohim) and the immutability of His law might be forever placed beyond all question.

   "Satan's rebellion was to be a lesson to the universe through all coming ages-- a perpetual testimony to the nature of sin and its terrible results." Patriarchs & Prophets p. 42

    The Titans could have tied the score in Super Bowl XXXIV on the last play of the game.  But the defender tackled the Titan player 18 inches short of the goal line

     This is a lesson, we could miss heaven by 18 inches, the distance between the brain and the heart.  Head knowledge will not get us into the Kingdom, it must come from the heart to obey.  Satan had a head knowledge, but it wasn't in his heart to obey the commandments.  Satan's war against heaven is still in progress, his preachers (brain washers) say the law was done away with at the cross, the blood of millions will be required at their hand, for that law will be seen in the heavens (Ps. 50:6 & Revelation 11:19 & 15:5) as the standard on the judgment day.

      The Titans were stopped 18 inches from the goal line on the last play of the game, which would have sent the game into overtime.  18 inches is the distance it is from the head to the heart.  Satan missed glory by 18 inches.
